Greg Kurkjian, Crosset Company Vice President/General Manager, participated on a panel titled What Lies Ahead for Wholesalers of Organic Produce. “Today’s retailers are truly welcoming fresh new organic produce ideas and not just in the form of varieties but also new packaging innovations,” he said. “There is a great opportunity for growers and shippers to partner with retail customers to open the dialogue around what consumers are looking for, the products they are seeking, and how to go to market to benefit all parties. It is an exciting time in organics and one that is ready for evolution and change. With our core competency in distribution and logistics, Crosset Company sources and aggregates product from multiple organic growers and distributes it to store level with extreme efficiency. Product gets to retail faster, so it’s fresher…and that means more delighted shoppers.” Read more about the panel here.

The day of educational programming and keynote presentations started with an opportunity to network over breakfast and coffee sponsored by Crosset Company. It wrapped with a sold-out trade show featuring 148 growers, shippers, and processors showcasing their organic produce innovations for more than 1600 attendees, including over 250 retailers from across North America. We’re looking forward to what the 2020 OPS has in store!
